Sold by Veronika Princeton-Hall and Mashelle Jones of Queensland Sotheby’s International Realty, who told WILLIAMS MEDIA, “Affluent buyers are attracted to Broadbeach; particularly, to the high-profile established apartment towers.”
This brand new three bedroom apartment sanctuary overlooking Broadbeach’s iconic surf beach has been sold by private treaty for $1.775 million Veronika Princeton-Hall and Mashelle Jones of Queensland Sotheby’s International Realty. The sale achieved a record price per square metre for Vue Broadbeach, with interest from local neighbours who had watched the building during its two-year construction, Gold Coast residents intending to transition from houses to apartments, and interstate buyers from Australia’s east coast capital cities.
“This is an apartment over one level with the best of the best in finishes, fittings and appliances. It was a well-considered designer floor plan with unobstructed ocean views, and parking for two cars,” Mashelle Jones told WILLIAMS MEDIA. “The buyer strolled into the apartment and straight ahead was a knockout ocean view, said ‘This is love at first sight’, and 24-hours later, the contracts were ‘signed, sealed and delivered’, as the saying goes. “Over the 30-day sales campaign there were 32 email enquiries, five private inspections, and 35 potential buyers attending the open for inspections. The marketing campaign was pre Covid-19 so virtual inspections had not yet become our new reality. Affluent buyers are attracted to Broadbeach; particularly, to the high-profile established apartment towers such as Manhattan, Jade and La Sabbia. Now, Vue is on their radar.”
Custom designed by award winning developer Andrews Projects to suit an owner occupier or astute investor, the VUE Broadbeach tower is a boutique building with only 25 levels and 71 apartments. With its elliptical shape and floor to ceiling double-gazed glass, the building is set to become an architectural landmark in the area. 1802 is one of just 3 apartments on floor 18. Wrapped in floor to ceiling glass to maximise ocean and skyline views, with an expansive entertainer’s terrace, the open plan design features spacious living and dining, and three bedrooms positioned to take advantage of the stunning Pacific Ocean views.
Residents access two levels of five star resort facilities, including pool, sauna, undercover barbeque and teppanyaki grill terrace, yoga and residents’ lounge. Steps away from the patrolled surf beach and G:Link (Tram) Station, the apartment is centrally located within walking distance of Jewel, Pacific Fair and the Broadbeach dining and retail precinct.
“As a community, Broadbeach is walkable with neighbourhood cafes and coffee shops patronised by locals – where everybody knows your name and the barista knows your coffee order. It’s home to some of the Gold Coast’s hippest bars and bistros; the casino with its fancy restaurants and the convention centre; the light-rail tram which gives a new meaning to public transportation, and name brand shopping at Pacific Fair. Buyers know what they want and that is having everything at their doorstep or a phone call away,” Mashelle told WILLIAMS MEDIA.
“Over the last week Gold Coast sales include a $25 million Mermaid Beach oceanfront home, Isle of Capri houses achieving record-breaking sales, and that’s just for starters. But buyers are seeking more than luxury homes: I see smart buyers seeking a solid infrastructure: state-of-the-art hospitals and medical facilities with world-class physicians and practitioners; acclaimed universities and some of Australia’s best private schools, ease of transportation – new highways linking beach homes to international airports with a drive time under one hour; and a vibrant art and cultural scene with the HOTA complex completion nearing,” Mashelle told WILLIAMS MEDIA.
“The Gold Coast is more than luxury homes with their fabulous views and oceanfront positions. We have the optimal ‘live, work, play’ scenario with a year-round ‘sundress climate’. It’s an enviable lifestyle and it’s my good fortune to call the Gold Coast my home.”
